I am an academic librarian at the Arapahoe Community College Library in Littleton, Colorado, USA. I am helping spread the message that, yes, you are empowered when you are information literate!

The purpose of this blog is to share some insights, issues, and observations about information literacy–about finding and using quality information. The emphasis is “scholarly” (as in students and teachers), but information literacy is also relevant to us in our personal and professional lives. Hopefully, the content of this blog will be useful, then, not just to scholarly pursuits, but also in all the other arenas of our lives that depend so much on accurate and reliable information.
